Stockholm Exergi’s CEO, Anders Egelrud, has been named winner of the European CEO Awards by European CEO.
“Naturally, this is amazing and an honour to be recognised in this way,” says Anders Egelrud.
Anders Egelrud received the award in the category Electric Utilities Industry and was one of four CEOs nominated from different European energy companies. The European CEO Awards were first presented in 2015 and James Watson who is responsible for the awards explains that the jury highlighted, amongst other things, concrete results in sustainability that the company has achieved in Anders Egelrud’s time as CEO.
“It is very clear that Anders Egelrud represent the very best of the business community, in not only his ability to lead and clearly communicate his ethos, vision, and way forward for the company whether it be on a national or International basis, but that priceless skill in being able to create real value for his customers, partners, stakeholders, and employees,” says James Watson.
In the context of the award, Anders Egelrud wants to highlight all of Stockholm Exergi.
“This award would not have been possible without my fantastic colleagues, and I believe this is an award for the entire company. It is thanks to the fact that we have so many skilful people that we have succeeded in developing the company and creating value that takes us and society forward,” says Anders Egelrud.
